In 1897, Johann Baptist Müller, then just 22 years old and known as Jean Müller, founded a company from Eltville that specialized in the installation of electrical systems. The young company was very successful from the outset, as the beginning of electrification in his hometown and the surrounding region created a high demand for electricity. The necessary electricity demand was met by the new local power plant.
